# Chief Operating Officer (Integrator), Wealth Management

Our client, a fast-growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to serve as Integrator to the Founder. The firm supports a network of 15 client-facing advisors and internal planners, differentiating itself through hands-on business development and prospecting support for its advisors.

This role takes ownership of day-to-day operations — freeing the Founder to focus fully on business development and growth — and follows a deliberate three-year path: shadowing and co-leading in year one, taking over advisor meetings and staff management in year two, and assuming full ownership of operations in year three. Trust, compliance, and cultural fit are paramount in this high-honor, high-transparency organization.

Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly former field-grade officers (O-4 to O-6). No degree or financial services background is required — leadership track record, strengths, and cultural alignment are weighted over pedigree.

**Location:** Dallas, TX.

### Compensation and benefits

- Base salary range: $100,000 – $300,000, with an anticipated rate around $150,000 depending on experience

- Profit sharing tied to company growth and performance

- The firm is seeking a partner invested in its long-term success, not simply the highest possible base salary

## What you will own

- Stabilize the leadership gap left by the departing CTO and a recently vacated business development role, and decide whether each function should be hired for or outsourced

- Design and run weekly advisor sales scorecards tracking conversion rates and lead distribution

- Conduct one-on-one production reviews across the advisor network and set quarterly performance targets

- Own day-to-day operations of the firm, managing advisors and select internal staff

- Analyze advisor performance data and lead one-on-one coaching and accountability conversations

- Coordinate with external sales coaches supporting top-producing advisors

- Manage the firm's technology stack and evaluate in-house vs. outsourced IT support

- Ensure compliance across a distributed advisor network spanning multiple U.S. regions

- Partner directly with the Founder on strategic decisions as scope and authority expand over three years

## What the employer needs

- Proven operational and people-leadership experience, ideally gained managing teams through growth or change

- High integrity, rule-conscious, and disciplined; comfortable operating in a compliance-driven environment

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills — able to build and interpret performance scorecards

- Comfortable leading a geographically distributed team

- Military veterans strongly encouraged to apply, particularly former field-grade officers (O-4 to O-6)

- No degree or financial services background required

- Prior experience in financial services or with an RIA a plus, but not required

## About the employer
